Traditional Polycarbonate Sheet anti-fog drop technology
Traditional anti-fog drop polycarbonate sheets use a roller coating process to roll a special liquid hydrophilic coating on the outer surface of the Polycarbonate Sheet. When passing through the oven of the panel production line, it is attached to the outer surface of the panel by ultraviolet curing. This hydrophilic coating can increase the surface tension of the panel, reduce the contact angle between water and the panel, and inhibit the condensation of water vapor into fine and dense tiny water droplets to form fog and affect the internal lighting. With the anti-fog drop coating, the water vapor in the air can quickly gather into large water droplets due to the weakening of the surface tension of the attachment, and be introduced into the water tank at the edge of the panel along the inclination angle when the panel surface is installed, so that there will be no fog or water droplets. The absence of fog will not affect the excellent light transmittance of the material, nor will it drip, so this Polycarbonate Sheet is particularly suitable for agricultural greenhouses and other lighting roofs where dripping is not allowed.
However, the existing anti-fog droplet polycarbonate sheets have little effect during use, and the durability of use is not enough. Since the anti-fog droplet coating material is solidified from a hydrophilic liquid, the traditional so-called water-based and alcohol-based anti-fog droplet coatings can eventually dissolve in water. As time goes by, water vapor continuously forms large water droplets that flow along the board into the water tank, and the anti-fog droplet coating gradually dissolves. The anti-fog droplet effect can only be achieved for 3-6 months in outdoor use. Moreover, the anti-fog droplet coating applied by roller is very easy to lose and fall off during transportation, installation, maintenance and cleaning, especially when the PE protective film on the surface is torn off.
Chiancess Polycarbonate Sheet anti-drip technology
Haining Chiancess Plastic Industry Co., Ltd. has undergone a special process, three layers of uniform coating, and the anti-drip layer is very firmly combined with the Qiancheng Polycarbonate Sheet, and it is insoluble in water, and the effect can last for ten years. At present, only two or three manufacturers in China have mastered this technology, and the technology is strictly confidential and has patent protection, and it has not yet been popularized by other manufacturers.
The standard for verifying the timeliness of anti-drip of greenhouse Polycarbonate Sheets: According to the ASTM-D-5725-99 test standard, the maximum number of years when the contact angle of water droplets on the surface of the board is not greater than 40 degrees is the effective number of years for the anti-drip effect. If the fog droplets in the greenhouse are not handled well enough, it will cause pests and diseases, and the water droplets will harm plants, affecting the lighting of the greenhouse and hindering plant photosynthesis. Therefore, anti-drip technology is very important, so you must pay attention to this when purchasing greenhouse Polycarbonate Sheets.
