The project was inspired by the geometric features of the traditional northern Italian architecture known as "Corti Lombarde" (ancient courts of Lombardy), which involved peroglas, arcades and squares. The building is roofed by a magnificent translucent Polycarbonate sheets panels that make the huge hall look lighter.
The Polycarbonate sheets panels reduce the radiation usually caused by transparent surfaces while promoting light diffusion. In addition, a special infrared surface treatment on the outer wall of the panels allows blocking the passage of infrared rays, which would cause an increase in temperature inside the building.
